** The Nigerian Letter -
Do you often come to e-mail spam emails with an offer to participate in the "super profitable financial operations"? You open them or just send in the basket? The latter would be much better for many of those who thirst for their naivety or break a big jackpot, still reading and responding to these "attractive" proposals, which are contained in the so-called "Nigerian letters".
"Nigerian spam 'or' circuit 419" (419 - number of the articles in the criminal code of Nigeria), is called a certain kind of fraud where fraudsters in the letters ask the recipient of the letter help with the multi-million dollar cash transactions, promising to solid interest. The letters are so named because the first mailing of this type organized on behalf of the people who supposedly have access to the state of the former Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha. Then, in the absence of the Internet, such letters were sent by regular mail. But since this type of fraud has spread to other countries with developed the Nigerian Diaspora, and then to those who have little to do with Nigeria. Mass mailing of letters began in the mid-1980s. Needless to say, a user who has agreed to help the authors of these messages, not only does not get other people's money - most of all, he is deprived of its own.
